The Standup on its Own – Cowboy Boot Purse
I’ve had lots of requests about how my cowboy boot purses “sit”. Well, let me tell ya, each bag can sit, stand and do the dishes! Well, almost. They all are hand laced with a hard leather lining on the bottom. So the all can be set on a counter or table without tipping over.
The other question I’ve been asked lately is, “do you make all these purses yourself?” Yes, ma’am! Each one is a creation from my very own 2 hands with lots of blessings and inspiration from the Lord. I am so grateful to walk to my shop each day and create new and interesting bags, each sporting it’s own expression of adventures in where it’s been and what it’s seen.
Don’t you love the history of each boot? They are not just stamped out by the 100’s, but upcycled from vintage and used cowboy boots. It takes about 10 hours for each double size cowboy boot purse. Some take longer, as I treasure hunt for just the right handle or concho or other unique item that expresses the character of the purse. I hope you love them as much as I love creating them.
The pink purse #646-11 has over 75 riveted crystals on the front. Once I started there was no turning back. It took an extra 2 hours to finish, but worth the sparkle!
So let me know your questions and comments!
